Die Vitamine C, B2, und E unterstützen die Augen gegenüber oxidativen Belastungen und tragen dazu bei, die Zellen vor freien Radikalen zu schützen. Lutein und Zeaxanthin sind Carotinoide, die in der Netzhaut des Auges vorkommen. Beide Stoffe können nur mit der Nahrung in den Körper gelangen, da dieser sie nicht selbst bilden kann.
