Vitamin D

Vitamin D ist für den menschlichen Organismus unverzichtbar. Es wird kaum aus der Nahrung aufgenommen, sondern der Körper bildet es selber mit Hilfe der im Sonnenlicht enthaltenen UV-B-Strahlen in der Haut. In den Wintermonaten kann das Sonnenvitamin D in nord- und mitteleuropäischen Gegenden jedoch fast ausschließlich über die Nahrung aufgenommen werden, da für die körpereigene Bildung des Vitamins nicht genügend UV-B-Strahlen im Tageslicht enthalten sind.

Vitamin D trägt zu einer normalen Funktion des Immunsystems bei und hat eine Funktion bei der Zellteilung.
Es unterstützt die Erhaltung normaler Knochen und Muskelfunktionen und leistet einen Beitrag zur Erhaltung normaler Zähne. Weiterhin trägt Vitamin D zu einer normalen Aufnahme bzw. Verwertung von Calcium und Phosphor bei und leistet einen Beitrag zu einem normalen Calciumspiegel im Blut.

Vitamin K

Das verhältnismäßig unbekannte, fettlösliche Vitamin K gehört zu den essentiellen Vitaminen. Es trägt zur Erhaltung normaler Knochen und einer normalen Blutgerinnung bei.

Vitamin K gibt es in zwei Formen: Vitamin K1, gewonnen aus grünen Pflanzen wie Grünkohl, Petersilie, Feldsalat oder Schnittlauch und Vitamin K2, gewonnen aus tierischen Quellen oder aus fermentierten Produkten wie Sauerkraut. Vitamin K2-MK7 von Kappa Bioscience gilt heute als eine für den Organismus gute Form von Vitamin K2, da es eine hohe Bioverfügbarkeit aufweist.

Avitale D3 + K2 Tabletten liefern mit 2000 I.E. Vitamin D3 und 100 μg Vitamin K2 eine gute Versorgung vieler Körperfunktionen mit beiden Vitaminen.

Please do not use this product if you suffer from hypercalcemia (abnormally high calcium levels in the blood) and/or hypercalciuria (abnormally high calcium levels in the urine). Please consult your physician before taking this product with coumarin-based anti-coagulants. When taking thiazide diuretics, this should be taken into account in terms of vitamin D dosage, as it can lead to increased calcium levels.
